Purpose, Disclaimer, and Usage

PURPOSE
The PRIMARY PURPOSE of the WMCC forum is to (1) Inform the climbing community of issues related to the Wichita Mountains and Quartz Mountain, (2) Educate climbers about access issues, wildlife, and wilderness protection/preservation, (3) Encourage community involvement in the WMCC, (4) Provide a means of responsible communication for climbers to discuss area issues, post climbing logs and photos, and discuss climbing-related issues.

DISCLAIMER
This is a public forum provided in good faith by the WMCC to the climbing community and our supporters. As a public forum there exists a wide variety of visitor types and viewpoints. The views, opinions, accounts, stories, photos, and other materials posted do not reflect the official position of the WMCC and its member base. Efforts will be made to respond appropriately to those who attempt to mislead, misstate, or misrepresent, the positions of the WMCC. While specific boards have been provided for an array of topics, any posting(s) which the WMCC recognizes as outside the scope of the established forum categories will be edited or deleted.

USAGE
Allowances are made for varying viewpoints and "colorful" language but we encourage everyone to USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT when posting. Always consider the consequences of what you post. Posts may be edited or deleted if we feel the posting affects the integrity of the WMCC and/or climbing in Oklahoma. If you have a personal beef with someone or something this is not the place for that - don't post it on the forum - make a phone call, or send a private message or email. In general, treat others as you would like to be treated.

Any posting which contains slanderous or hateful language will be immediately removed and that user's account will be deleted.
