First of all...doing and naming first ascents should not seen as a "past tense" activity. There are lots and lots of new routes to be put up. Especially in the wichitas!!!
As probably the worst route namer in the business, it's probably obvious that I don't put too much work into it. It's usually just the first thing that pops into my head.
Lets see...the last few weeks its been...
"Road Rash" - named because Mark looked like he had been drug behind a car for a block. He toproped the climb with short sleeves!
"Honey Hole" - named for the hole that appears out of nowhere to provide a bucket right where you need it. Sweeeet!
"Elk Mountain Jamboree" - named for crack route up the Elk Mountain Summit Dome that I did with Amber...get it?
